Argireline (Acetyl Hexapeptide-8)
SkinSynthetic hexapeptide (Glu-Glu-Met-Gln-Arg-Arg) marketed as a topical 'botox alternative.' Theoretically interferes with SNARE complex formation, reducing neurotransmitter release at neuromuscular junctions. Topical formulations are widely sold in cosmetics. Failed to meet Phase 2 primary endpoints for weight loss. Repurposed as a research / supplement-market compound; in some jurisdictions classified as a food supplement.
Follistatin (FST-344)
MuscleProtein that binds and inhibits members of the TGF-β superfamily, most notably myostatin. Myostatin inhibition increases muscle mass in animals and in rare human genetic conditions (myostatin-deficient individuals). Heavy biohacking / bodybuilding interest. Limited human-trial data for any indication.

Originally developed under the AOD-9604 program (see related entry). Marketed as a 'pure lipolytic' but human-trial evidence for clinically meaningful weight loss is weak.

SleepDelta sleep-inducing peptide originally isolated in studies of EEG slow-wave activity. Modern human data is sparse.
Dihexa (PNB-0408)
CognitiveSynthetic peptidomimetic derived from angiotensin IV. Strong preclinical evidence for synaptogenesis (promoting new synapse formation) — described in animal studies as orders of magnitude more potent than BDNF in some assays. Of intense biohacking interest. NO human clinical trial data published.
5-Amino-1MQ
Fat LossSmall-molecule NNMT inhibitor (NOT a peptide — it's a quinoline derivative). NNMT (nicotinamide N-methyltransferase) is upregulated in obese white adipose tissue. Preclinical studies show 5-Amino-1MQ reduces adipocyte size and improves metabolic markers in obese mice. No human RCTs. Sold as a research chemical.
